Turn on the computer or video equipment you want to use after you turn on the projector.

Turning On the Projector

Connect the power cord to the projector’s power inlet and plug it into an electrical outlet.

  1. The projector enters standby mode. This indicates that the projector is receiving power, but is not yet turned on.
  2. Press the power button on the projector or the [On] button on the remote control to turn on the projector. The lens shutter opens and the status indicator flashes blue as the projector warms up. Once the projector is warmed up, the status indicator stops flashing and turns blue.

Turn off the projector after use.

  1. Press the power button on the projector or the [Standby] button on the remote control. The projector displays a shutdown confirmation screen.
  2. Press the power button on the projector or the [Standby] button on the remote control again. (To leave it on, press any other button.) The light source turns off, the lens shutter closes, and the status indicator turns off.
  3. To transport or store the projector, make sure all of the indicators on the projector are off, and then unplug the power cord.
