Xiaomi announces the Redmi Projector and Redmi Projector Pro, what’s the difference between them?
The Redmi projector is white + black , the Redmi projector Pro is all black unit, the brightness of the Redmi projector is 600lm, the resolution is 800x600dpi, and the contrast ratio is 3000:1. The brightness of the Redmi Projector Pro is 800lm, the resolution is 800x600dpi, and the contrast ratio is 3000:1.
They all adopts DLP display technology as well as LED light source, powered by a 0.23”DMD chip. Both Redmi projector and Redmi pro run on Android 9.0 system. But they won’t support WiFi, auto obstacle avoidance and 3D decoding. This is acceptable though, they are mini portable projectors after all. They do support 8-point keystone correction, which is critical in the optimization of user experience.
To sum up, the two Redmi Projector measured exactly the same, 220mm x 200mm x 200mm, but outer shell color is differenct. As for the specification, the two are identical to the most, only that Redmi Pro is brighter than Redmi projector.
