XGIMI has officially introduced two successors to last year’s MoGo 3 Pro—the MoGo 4 and MoGo 4 Laser. Like their predecessor, both models are portable projectors powered by Google TV, but they come with notable upgrades, particularly on the inside.

All-New Design with Battery Power Built-In
The MoGo 4 series features a refreshed design that maintains the sleek cylindrical look of the MoGo 3 Pro (which retails on Amazon for $449.99). However, the standout upgrade is the built-in 20,000mAh battery, a key improvement over the MoGo 3 Pro, which lacked internal battery support. According to XGIMI, this battery offers up to 2.5 hours of video playback and up to 6 hours in Bluetooth speaker mode, making it more practical for travel and outdoor use.
Magnetic Filters and Enhanced Audio
Another new addition is support for magnetic snap-on lens filters, designed to create special visual effects. The standard MoGo 4 comes with one filter, while the MoGo 4 Laser includes four filters in the box. Audio also gets an upgrade: the MoGo 4 series is equipped with dual 6W Harman Kardon speakers, promising improved sound quality compared to the MoGo 3 Pro’s underwhelming 5W setup. That said, depending on your space or whether you’re outdoors, you may still want to pair the projector with a Bluetooth speaker or soundbar for optimal audio.

Image Quality and Smart Features
The MoGo 4 offers 1080p resolution with 450 ISO lumens, while the MoGo 4 Laser boosts brightness to 550 ISO lumens and features a tri-laser light source for sharper, more vivid images. Both models support auto keystone correction, 360° rotation, IR remote control, and even gesture control for switching filters—adding convenience to your setup.
Connectivity options are identical across the lineup, including Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 5, and HDMI with ARC support.
New Accessories: PowerBase and Outdoor Screen
To further extend usability, XGIMI is also launching two accessories for the MoGo 4 series. The first is the PowerBase, a tripod with a built-in 20,000mAh battery that magnetically connects to either projector for extra power. The second is a 70-inch portable outdoor screen that can be set up in just minutes—perfect for backyard movie nights or camping trips.

Pricing and Availability
The MoGo 4 series is now available through XGIMI’s official website and Amazon. Pricing is as follows:
- MoGo 4: €599
- MoGo 4 Laser: €799
- MoGo 4 + PowerBase bundle: €679
- MoGo 4 Laser + PowerBase + Outdoor Screen bundle: €949
These new models underscore XGIMI’s commitment to portable projection with real-world versatility, improved visuals, and smart design tailored for both home and on-the-go use.
