Optoma has added two new projectors to DuraCore lasers series. The ZU820T and ZU725T, what’s the difference between them?

Optoma Anounced ZU820T and ZU725T Mid-range Projectors

They are both able to give native WUXGA (1920×1200) resolution as well as 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio. The new projectors have a throw ratio of 1.25-2.1:1 For optical paratmeters, both U820T and ZU725T come with motorized 1.6x zoom, focus, and ±55% vertical and horizontal lens shift (which is a veyr big range).

The projectors are capable of 360-degree placement and support horizontal, vertical, and four-corner keystone adjustment. They accept 4K and HDR signals. The laser lightsource will last up to 30,000 hours when working under eco mode.

Optoma Anounced ZU820T and ZU725T Mid-range Projectors

Now let’s move to the difference between them. Optoma ZU820T projectors with rated brightness at 8,800 and ZU725T with rated brightness at 7,700 lumens. Hence they come with different price tag; The Optoma ZU820T are selling for US$6,299 and ZU725T projector is selling for US$5,299.
