On May 15, XGIMI Technology officially announced that four models from its flagship RS 20 projector series are now compatible with Xiaomi’s Mi Home ecosystem. These models support Xiaomi’s HyperOS Smart Connect and can be controlled via the Xiao Ai voice assistant for a more seamless smart home experience.
Earlier this month, on May 8, XGIMI unveiled the RS 20 series, which includes four models: the RS 20 Plus, RS 20 Pro Max, RS 20 Ultra, and RS 20 Ultra Max.
Flagship Optical and Imaging Technology
The RS 20 Plus is equipped with XGIMI’s self-developed and self-manufactured “X Master” lens. Higher-end models in the series feature a professional-grade Red Ring Master lens, supporting lossless image zoom and shift. The lineup also includes dual optical lens shift, quasar light transmission elements, ultra-clear crystal diamond lenses, and a 1.2–1.5:1 optical zoom ratio, delivering refined flexibility and precision in image projection.
High-End Performance and Certification
Powered by a new flagship chipset combination (MT9681 + 8445 processor) and a 0.47” DMD (472TP) imaging chip, the RS 20 series is engineered for high-performance projection. The series is certified for Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced, ensuring premium visual quality for home entertainment.
Immersive Audio and Laser Technology
For audio, all models are equipped with original Harman Kardon speakers, supporting 360° surround sound to provide a cinema-grade audio experience. The RS 20 Ultra Max goes a step further, incorporating the next-generation Qualas 32 laser light source for enhanced brightness, color, and longevity.
With the RS 20 series now integrated into the Xiaomi smart home ecosystem, users can expect improved connectivity, smarter control, and a more unified home entertainment experience.
