TMY Projector Remote Control Doesn’t Work Troubleshooting

Most TMY projectors adopt an IR-based remote control. If your remote control doesn’t work, you can check the following tips for troubleshooting.

The illustration in the post takes TMY V08 as an example.

1. Check whether the battery of the remote control is depleted. Replace a new pair of batteries.

2. Points the remote control to the IR receiver. Don’t point the remote to the side panel of the TMY projector.

3. Walk close to the projector when using the remote. Don’t use the remote far away from the TMY projector.

4. Keep the IR receiver clear and never cover the projector with any cloth or blanket.

5. Clean the dirt and dust of the IR receiver on the projector and the IR transmitter on the remote control.

6. Use the remote control of an external device when you connect the TMY projector to a TV Box or other devices.
