By checking the side-by-side comparison below, we can easily conclude that the Dangbei Mars Pro is better in terms of the light source, built-in memory, and audio.

Optoma UHD55 adopts whole white in terms of color matching. The lens module is located on the right side of the front panel.

Dangbei Mars Pro adopts gloss black as the main color. In terms of material, the projector adopts a glass IML suspension panel and aircraft-grade aluminum frame, and the lines are sleek and delicate, whose design style is fashionable and futuristic.

Regarding brightness, Optoma UHD55 has 3,600 ANSI lumens while Dangbei Mars Pro has 3200 ANSI lumens. Optoma UHD55 is slightly brighter than Dangbei Mars Pro at the beginning. It is worthy to note that Optoma UHD55 adopts a Metal Halide bulb as the light source and the brightness may decrease as time goes by. Dangbei Mars Pro adopts laser as the light source, which has longer lamp life and more stable brightness.

In terms of image size, Optoma UHD55 can project a max screen of 302.4″, and Dangbei Mars Pro has a max screen of 300 inches. The max image size is approximated.

Dangbei Mars Pro is much smarter than the Optoma projector in terms of image adjustment as the former has auto keystone and autofocus.

In view of memory, Optoma UHD55 has no built-in memory while Dangbei Mars Pro has 4G RAM and 128G ROM. The large storage enables users to download more videos and files to watch in offline conditions.

Optoma UHD55 and Dangbei Mars Pro are equipped with dual HDMI interfaces, dual USB interfaces, and a LAN slot, which are compatible with various devices, including computers, game consoles, TV sticks, etc. Compared with Dangbei Mars Pro, Optoma UHD55 has one more VGA interface, which is used to connect some old-fashioned computers.
