The Laser Projector Xiaomi 1S projector has a maximum brightness of 2,400 ANSI lumens for a strong image in brighter conditions; for comparison, the 2022 model Xiaomi S2 projector has a peak brightness of 840 ANSI lumens.
The Xiaomi 1S projector has AI image quality enhancement algorithms and can support 4K and 8K decoding. The projector has two built-in 10 W speakers to create a 360° virtual soundstage, with support for Dolby Audio and DTS-HD technologies. Xiaomi 2S projector has the FullHD resolution (1920 x 1080p), with two 10 W speakers. There is also compatibility with Dolby Audio and DTS-HD.
The diagonal size of the Xiaomi 2S projected image ranges from 60 to 120 inches, depending on the distance of the projector. It is also available multi-angle automatic keystone correction. Which in practice means that the projector can automatically straighten the image from almost any angle.
The projector is part of the Mijia smart home system, allowing you to control the gadget with the Mijia app or Xiao AI voice commands. You can now buy the Xiaomi Laser Projector 1S for US$894; the older model cost US$2,236 at launch.
