The Laser Projector Xiaomi 1S projector has a maximum brightness of 2,400 ANSI lumens for a strong image in brighter conditions; for comparison, the 2022 model Xiaomi S2 projector has a peak brightness of 840 ANSI lumens.

The Xiaomi 1S projector has AI image quality enhancement algorithms and can support 4K and 8K decoding. The projector has two built-in 10 W speakers to create a 360° virtual soundstage, with support for Dolby Audio and DTS-HD technologies. Xiaomi 2S projector has the FullHD resolution (1920 x 1080p), with two 10 W speakers. There is also compatibility with Dolby Audio and DTS-HD.

The diagonal size of the Xiaomi 2S projected image ranges from 60 to 120 inches, depending on the distance of the projector. It is also available multi-angle automatic keystone correction. Which in practice means that the projector can automatically straighten the image from almost any angle.
