Sony VPL-PHZ51 and VPL-PHZ61 are all powered by 3LCD system, adopting laser technology as light source. The VPL-PHZ61 offers 6,400 lumens and the VPL-PHZ51 offers 5,300 lumens. 1920×1200 dpi resolution image quality is provided by both of the laser models.

Sony VPL-PHZ61 offers vertical –35% to +55% and horizontal +/- 15% degrees keystone correction. While Sony VPL-PHZ51 offers Keystone Correction with Horizontal: +/-30 degrees and Vertical: +/-30 degrees. They offer Manual ( x 1.6) lens zoom.

With Throw Ratio1.23: 1 to 1.97: 1, they give Screen Size from 1.02 m to 7.62 m (40 in to 300 in) (measured diagonally). They house 16w speaker to produce lound sound.
