 Connect iPhone to Vankyo Projector

HDMI Connection

1. Turn on your Vankyo projector.

2. Get the lightning to HDMI adapter (It is also called Lightning Digital AV adapter) and HDMI cable with two HDMI ends.

3. Connect the lightning port to your iPhone.

4. Plug the 2 HDMI ports into the projector and the adapter.

5. Tap the Trust button on your iPhone.

6. Then, the Vankyo projector and your iPhone will be connected.

USB Connection

  1. Get the original lightning charging cable (bundled with your iPhone in the package) of your iPhone.
  2. Plug the USB port into the Vankyo projector.
  3. Plug the lightning port into the iPhone.
  4. Click the Trust button to enable the projector to access your iPhone.
  5. Then the Vankyo projector and your iPhone can be connected successfully.

Wireless Mirroring

  1. Connect the projector to home Wi-Fi. Generally, you can connect it in the Setting.
  2. Connect your iPhone to the same Wi-Fi as the Vankyo projector.
  3. Turn on the “Screen Mirroring” function on your iPhone by swiping the screen (swipe up or swipe down) when the iPhone is not locked.
  4. Select the “Vankyo-XXXX” projector and connect it.

Chromecast

  1. Get the Chromecast streaming adapter (generally less than $40).
  2. Plugging the HDMI port of the adapter into the HDMI interface of your Vankyo projector.

How to Set Up the Vankyo Projector?

  • Open the package box of your Vankyo projector and place your projector on your table or other surfaces.  
  • Connect the Vankyo projector to a power socket.  
  • Turn on your Vankyo projector by pressing the power switch.
  • Fix a screen on the wall in front of the Vankyo projector.

Adjust the position or throw distance of the Vankyo projector so that the projection image and screen are matched. The projector and the screen should be aligned so that the projection image is rectangular. The closer the distance, the smaller the screen; and the farther the distance, the bigger the screen.

Roll the focus ring on the side panel or top panel of the Vankyo projector until the projection image will get clear. If the projection image is not regular and rectangular, you can adjust the position and pointing direction of the projector to adjust the image.

How to Adjust Image of Vankyo Projector?

To make the abnormal image rectangular, you need to place the projector well. The projector and the screen should be aligned. In addition, you can adjust the image using the keystone correction function.

To Adjust image size, you need to adjust the throw distance (the distance from the projector and the screen). The farther the distance, the bigger the image, and the closer the distance, the bigger the image.
