If the light source of your projector is a lamp, you may need to change the lamp after long-term use. This post will take BenQ E330 as an example and share the projector lamp change methods.

Here are the detailed explanations and illustrations.

1. Turn off the projector and then unplug the projector from the socket.  If the bulb is hot, please wait about 45 minutes until the bulb cools to avoid burns.

2. Unscrew the screw that holds the bulb cover on the side of the projector until the bulb cover is loosened.

3. Remove the bulb cover from the projector.

4. Loosen the screw that fixes the bulb and lift the handle to make it stand up.

5. Slowly pull the bulb out of the projector.

6. Put the new bulb into the projector and lower it slowly.

7. Tighten the screw that fixes the bulb and make sure the handle is completely flat and locked.

8. Put the bulb cover back on the projector.

9. Tighten the screws fixing the bulb cover.
