Hisense has officially announced the upcoming release of its new Vidda C Series laser projector, set to launch on May 8. Marketed with bold claims such as “professionally certified,” “cinema-quality visuals,” “beast-level performance,” “ultra-wide zoom range,” and “true high brightness with no inflated specs,” the new model is generating buzz ahead of its debut. However, detailed specifications have not yet been disclosed.
As a reference point, the Vidda C2 Pro—also introduced on May 8, 2024—launched at a retail price of ¥9,499 (approximately $1,310 USD). It features a 0.9–1.5:1 ultra-wide optical zoom ratio, allowing for 1.67x flexible scaling while maintaining 4K resolution across the entire zoom range without quality loss.
Notably, the Vidda C2 Pro is the industry’s first projector to be certified by both IMAX Enhanced and Filmmaker Mode, affirming its commitment to delivering accurate, cinema-grade image quality.

Powered by Vi-LPU ultra-pure tri-color laser technology, the projector achieves a peak brightness of 2,600 CVIA lumens. Under the hood, it’s equipped with a MediaTek MT9679 chip and supports a range of advanced features including HDMI 2.1, MEMC motion smoothing, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and LE Audio.
More information about the new Vidda C Series model will be revealed at launch. Stay tuned for full specs and availability.
