Epson has announced the HC 2350 projector/Home Cinema 2350 Projector. As one of Epson’s least expensive projector with well-proven 4K PRO-UHD resolution ( enhanced by pixel shifting technology), offers a 3LCD chip that delivers effective detail processing to provide near-4K image quality. Most importantly, 3LCD display technology comes with immunity to rainbow effect.

This new model gives equal white and color brightness that is up to 2,800 lumens along with ultra-high efficiency lamp. Dynamic contrast is rated at 35,000:1, supports HDR10, and of interest for gamers, it is capable of 120 Hz refresh rate at 1080p (1920×1080) resolution.

As for optical parameter, Epson HC 2350 is able to cast a massive image size that is up to a 500-inch. The lens offers ±60 percent vertical shift, which allows users for flexible placement.

Running on Android TV streaming OS, Epson HC 2350 provides with access to maintream streaming apps including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Hulu, and HBO Max. There’s a built-in 10W speaker, and the projector can be connected via Bluetooth to a compatible device. Only the audio from the Android TV OS can be played over Bluetooth, not from an HDMI- connected device.

This new member Epson HC 2350 really comes with some attractive updates, expecially for gamers. The input lag is rated to be under 20ms. Refresh rate for 4K signals is capped at 60 Hz. To be noted, 1080p 3D projection is not supported in this Epson HC 2350.

The Epson HC 2350 is available now for $1,299. Though it won’t support 4K/120Hz gaming from the latest consoles. But with this price, Epson HC 2350 still plague some gaming projectors that with same price tag or even is more expensive.
