CRT stands for Cathode Ray Tube, one of mainstream techniques used in projector area.

3 LCD

 LCD stands for Liquid Crystal Display, also one of mainstream techniques used in projector area.

4 DLP

DLP stands for Digital Light Processing, one of mainstream techniques used in projector area.

5 DMD

DMD stands for Digital Micromirror Device. It is the core of the trademarked DLP projection technology from Texas Instruments (also known as TI).

6 HDR

HDR stands for High-Dynamic Range. It includes a set of techniques used to improve the dynamic range of captured photos and videos.

7  MEMC

MEMC stands for Motion Estimation and Motion Compensation. If a projector supports this technique, it provides much smoother and clearer image when playing action movie or sports video.

8  DCI

DCI stands for Digital Cinema Initiatives. It is an organization including members such as Disney, Paramount, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Universal and Warner Bros. Studios. Its purpose is to establish high-level technical performance, reliability and quality.

9 HLG

 HLG stands for Hybrid log-gamma. It is a HDR standard developed by BBC and NHK.

10 DPI

DPI stands for Dots Per Inch. It is an important parameter of resolution, and the higher of the number the higher the resolution.
