On May 8, Hisense officially launched its Vidda C3 series of laser projectors, featuring four different models with prices starting at ¥6,399 (~$885 USD). The new lineup brings significant upgrades across the board, including enhanced lasers, upgraded chips, optical zoom capabilities, Dolby Vision support, and Gigabit Ethernet ports.

Here’s a breakdown of the lineup:
- Vidda C3 – Starting at ¥6,399
The base model features 1.3x lossless optical zoom, the MT9681 chipset, and a Qualas32 triple-laser light source. It offers up to 1,850 CVIA lumens of brightness and is powered by the DeepSeek AI system for smart interaction. - Vidda C3S – Starting at ¥6,999
Building on the C3, the C3S maintains the same optical zoom, chip, and laser configuration but boosts brightness to 2,200 CVIA lumens. It also comes equipped with Harman JBL speakers for an improved audio experience. - Vidda C3 Pro – Starting at ¥9,499
This Pro model debuts the cinema-grade MCL 39 laser engine, supports a 0.9–1.5:1 throw ratio, and pushes brightness up to 2,800 CVIA lumens. Like the C3S, it includes Harman JBL audio, and offers 4GB RAM with 128GB of storage. - Vidda C3 Ultra Pro – Starting at ¥11,999
Topping the range, the Ultra Pro features the same MCL 39 triple-laser system, with brightness raised to 3,200 CVIA lumens. It uniquely includes what Hisense calls the industry’s only gimbal-mounted independent subwoofer, delivering Harman JBL 2.1-channel sound. This flagship model also upgrades to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
With the Vidda C3 lineup, Hisense aims to combine professional-grade laser projection with smarter performance and flexible home entertainment features at a competitive price point.
