The published numbers are modest and, unusually for this end of the Chinese market, verified. Brightness is 200 CVIA lumens, certified by CESI and carried through JD’s own brightness certification programme. Throw ratio is 0.85:1, which Dreame says stretches to a 150-inch image. The light engine is fully sealed against dust. Audio is a single 5W neodymium full-range driver with in-house tuning, connectivity is dual-band Wi-Fi 6, and there is 1GB of RAM alongside 8GB of storage. Focus and keystone are handled by what Dreame calls AI light-curtain sensing, its term for the camera-and-sensor combination that squares the image up without the user touching a menu.
The software has a familiar author
The most interesting line in the spec sheet is not a number. Dreame states that the A10’s operating system was co-developed with Dangbei, the Chinese projector maker whose own hardware now sells in North America and Europe.

200 CVIA lumens is a specific kind of promise
亮度数字值得深入解读，因为这是在中国以外最容易被误读的指标。CVIA 流明源自中国电子视像行业协会推动制定的测量标准，其目的正是遏制曾让千元以下投影仪无法选购的流明虚标现象——那个 100 元零件清单被宣传为“12000 光源流明”的时代。CVIA 数值大致与 ISO 21118 评级相当，也就是说，它描述的是实际到达墙壁的光线。

The gaps in the launch materials
Dreame has not published a native resolution, and it has not said whether the A10 uses a DLP chip or a single-panel LCD. Neither omission is accidental. At 899 yuan with 200 CVIA lumens, the answer the market usually gives is a single LCD panel, and buyers in this bracket have learned to check — a projector that “supports 1080p” as an input signal and one that has 1080p pixels on the panel are different products at the same price. Battery capacity and the port list are also missing from the launch write-ups. Until the full spec sheet goes up, the safe reading is that the A10 is a mains-powered ambient device with modest optics and unusually good industrial design.
Why anyone would enter this market now
Timing is the strange part. China’s smart projector market shipped 2.06 million units in the first half of 2026, down 26% year on year, with revenue off 27% — chín quý liên tiếp suy giảm. Dreame is walking into a category that is shrinking faster than almost anything else in Chinese consumer electronics.

A 899-yuan projector is a rounding error against that programme, and it is the cheapest possible way to put a Dreame-branded screen into a bedroom that already has a Dreame vacuum in it. The unit economics only need to work as an accessory to an installed base, not as a standalone projector business.
Which leaves the question the spec sheet cannot answer. Four-fifths of Dreame’s revenue comes from outside China, and the A10’s pitch — ambient lamp, sleep routine, speaker, projector fourth — is a much easier sell in a Western bedroom than another 200-lumen mini projector would be. Nothing in the launch says whether it is going anywhere near that market. If it does, the more interesting export will not be the hardware.
