Exploring the Anticipated Upgrades in the JMGO N2 Projector

JMGO is poised to unveil its latest projector model, potentially the JMGO N2 within the near future, speculated to bring enhancements in brightness, resolution, and more.

The JMGO N-series projectors, known for their sleek pedestal design and incorporation of tri-color laser light sources, have seen iterations like the JMGO N1, N1 Air, N1S Pro, and N1S Ultra. For instance, the JMGO N1 features an 800 ANSI lumens brightness, 1080p resolution, and a contrast ratio of 1600:1, powered by the MediaTek MT9671 chip with a 3GB RAM + 32GB storage configuration.

Following the pattern of past product updates, it’s anticipated that the JMGO N2 projector may see improvements in brightness, resolution, processor, and memory. Speculations suggest a brightness exceeding 1000 ANSI lumens, 4K resolution, an upgrade to the MT9669 chip.

In terms of design, the JMGO N2 projector is likely to retain the N-series’ integrated smart pedestal form, offering multi-angle adjustments through its adaptive image adjustment system. As for the light source, the projector might continue using the tri-color laser technology, known for its wide color gamut and high color reproduction accuracy.

However, it’s important to note that tri-color laser technology has been associated with issues like speckle and color fringing. While JMGO has previously employed LSR dynamic speckle suppression technology to mitigate such issues, there’s a possibility that the upcoming N2 model might introduce further improvements in light source technology to address these concerns at their root.

Currently, popular home laser projectors utilize either tri-color laser or ALPD laser technology. While the JMGO N-series represents the tri-color laser technology, offerings like the Dangbei Mars Pro and Mars feature ALPD laser technology, known for its high brightness and transparent projection images. Recently unveiled at CES 2024, the Dangbei Atom marks the brand’s first Google TV laser projector, boasting portability, intelligence, and high brightness as standout features.
