JMGO’s Upcoming Ultra-Short Throw Three-Color Laser Projector

JMGO is gearing up for a remarkable release in the world of projectors. The announcement made on JMGO’s official Weibo account has sparked interest and curiosity among tech enthusiasts. On October 20, 2024, JMGO is set to launch a groundbreaking three-color laser projector, touted as the “shortest throw projection device” in the JMGO series. Moreover, this new addition incorporates the latest iteration of the MALC 2.0 three-color laser technology.

The tagline “Closer than ever” and the claim of “shortest projection” undeniably hint at the introduction of a new ultra-short throw projector. JMGO has previously introduced the JMGO Smart Wall O1 series of ultra-short throw projectors. These projectors are celebrated for their extreme proximity to the projection surface, boasting projection ratios of 0.25:1 and 0.21:1. The top performer in this series, the JMGO O1 Pro, can project a massive 100-inch display from a mere 23 cm away from the wall. With the impending release, JMGO aims to outdo its previous models by enabling even larger screen projections from an even closer distance.

The new offering is said to feature the highly-anticipated MALC 2.0 technology. The entire JMGO N1 series has already embraced the MALC three-color laser technology, an acronym for Modular Laser Stack Technology, a 400-partition four-layer compound eye homogenizing system, and LSR dynamic speckle suppression technology. This technology has been instrumental in mitigating the age-old issues of speckle and color fringing that plague three-color laser projection. With the upgraded MALC 2.0 technology in the pipeline, it’s reasonable to anticipate further enhancements in speckle suppression.

While the official announcement hasn’t disclosed the exact model, we can speculate that the naming convention may follow the existing O1 or N1 series, as per JMGO’s product lineup. Given the nature of this innovation, it’s highly likely that this new projector will be christened as the “JMGO N1 Nano,” forming a part of the N1 series and distinguishing itself with an emphasis on ultra-short throw capabilities.

JMGO enthusiasts, tech aficionados, and home theater enthusiasts, in particular, have much to look forward to with this impending release. The drive towards a shorter throw distance while maintaining impeccable image quality is a testament to JMGO’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of projection technology. The unveiling on October 20, 2024, will indeed be an exciting moment in the world of projectors.
