FILMATIC Projector Review: the World’s First “Wild” Projector

FILMATIC projector has released a cute retro outdoor projector, which has a small size but powerful functions. This post will review the projector from different perspectives.

Appearance

The projector adopts a retro style, which looks like a traditional camera. It adopts whole black color and all-metal body design, which supports IPX6 water resistance.

The water resistance design makes it a good choice for outdoor use, especially for camping in the wild. The company claims that the FILMATIC projector is the World’s first “Wild” projector.

FILMATIC projector measures only 60 x 50 x 70 mm and weighs just 200g, meaning that you can put it in your palm or your handbag.

In addition, it has a lamp at the bottom of the projector. You can use it as a lantern when you have a camping trip in the wild.

The new outdoor projector features 1080P resolution and supports 4K. The image size ranges from 30 to 120 inches.

FILMATIC projector is rated at 200 ANSI lumens. It supports auto keystone correction and autofocus, bringing a clear and rectangular image.

It has a throw ratio of 1.35:1, which project a 100-inch screen 3 meter away from the projector to screen.

FILMATIC projector adopts DLP display and LED as the light source, which can last 30,000 hours.

FILMATIC projector operates on Android 8.0 and carries an Amlogic T972 chip. It supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0, ensuring convenient and quick transmission.

It is equipped with 2*3W speakers, bringing quality audio effects. The operation noise is as low as 30 dB.

Connectivity

FILMATIC projector is equipped with various ports, including TF Card slot, HDMI port, and USB-C port, which is compatible with TV Box, phone, game player, and computers.

The projector supports screen mirroring via Airplay or Miracast, meaning that it can be connected to iPhone or Android phone.

FILMATIC projector has a retail price of HKD 2,635, about $ 338.
