BenQ V7050i vs Dangbei Mars Pro: Which One Should You Buy?

BenQ V7050i and Dangbei Mars Pro are both 4K laser projectors with similar market positions, but their prices vary greatly. What are the differences between them? Which one should you buy? This article will help you to find the answer.

Appearance

Both of the two projectors are mainly black but they are different in style. BenQ V7050i is matte black while Dangbei Mars Pro is glossy black. Dangbei Mars Pro adopts glass IML suspension panels, building a futuristic and cool style.

The lens of BenQ V7050i is located in the groove of the top panel. Dangbei Mars Pro’s lens is located at the front panel. Both of the two projectors are labeled with a 4K mark. Compared with BenQ V7050i, Dangbei Mars Pro has more vents and therefore it performs better in terms of heat dissipation.

The size of BenQ V7050i is bigger than Dangbei Mars Pro. That’s to say, BenQ V7050i is much more portable.

System

Both BenQ V7050i and Dangbei Mars Pro are powered by the Android 9.0 system, but they are different in memory. BenQ V7050i has no built-in memory while Dangbei Mars Pro carries 4G RAM and 128G ROM, which supports quick response and large storage. In addition, Dangbei Mars Pro has a built-in UI assistant, community, browser, and other useful tools, providing more fun for users.

Connectivity

Both BenQ V7050i and Dangbei Mars Pro have versatile interfaces, including HDMI interfaces, USB interfaces, audio interfaces, etc. BenQ V7050i has one more USB interface but it has no LAN port compared with Dangbei Mars Pro.

In terms of wireless connections, the two 4K projectors both support Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. However, Dangbei Mars Pro’s Bluetooth 5.0 is better than BenQ V7050i’s Bluetooth 4.2.
